Life's a Zero Sum Game

I am really bored these days, The Irony is - I got so so much work to do, but still it feels empty. So I thought Maybe I should write about my friends (This time, its for real, not the Sitcom "friends", thought it might come as close in fun part)

EDUTECH and the Gang
First, I am really beginning to miss my friends at EDUTECH, I have got so much used to being with them ( and every single one of them) that I am beginning to miss my friends there. Guess When you be with somebody for nearly 12-14 hrs a day, everyday of the week. You really start getting used to them and really feel their absence, when they are not there. Not just that my company EDUTECH itself, was pretty cool. Infact I have worked for a few top notch companies ( revenue wise) before, but nothing even comes close to the kind of culture we had at EDUTECH. Also the work we were doing there was pretty cool (Information, Knowledge Management, elearning stuff), Things were very dynamic in our business, It was fun being there, doing the thing we were doing and meeting the people whom we were meeting. The fun part was there were a few things which were amiss at EDUTECH which we had to slogg our butt out to make it happen. but thats what made life at EDUTECH differnt. Infact even today I am proud to say, It never feels having worked for someone, It was like working my own company.

anyway like they say, what they took out of me (EDUTECH), I got twice as much in return. (at XLRI)

The Tam Gang:
I am in a great college, with some really wonderful profs teaching us (many of the literally wrote the book on their subject), Am really happy in company of a few good friends like Jayaram- the Charukhan, Kadalai King Kong Mr Karthik, Shiva the Dracula, CM - Self happy man, Gayathri & The Kid, Priya & autodriver, Ashok the olympic (ke) torch bearer, et all ( let me not to miss out my gang at GMP here - talking of whom I shall write a seperate
blog). Its fun to be with the them, and I am the unofficial Thalai for them ( Ah.. Thalai for a change, I always used to be the youngest in all the groups I was with, Now finally its good to be slightly older and being The Thalai). These guys try thier best to pull my legs but little do they know how heavy and strong I am.... ha ha..

So I guess it all tally's in the end, you always get something in return for whatever you miss & at the other end you have to sacrifice something always to get something much more dearer.

Sathish.
